- Towards the end of syllabus teaching period (Semester), summative assessment is meticulously used to 'track' the child's progress.
- At PDIS, aptitude tests, behavioral assessment, team work, observations of extra-curricular and co-curricular performances, inclination to sports and sportsmanship and child's interest in art forms and performing arts are taken as the yardsticks for charting developmental path for each child.
- Children are taught to assess their own strengths, performance levels and areas that need improvement through self assessment exercises and tests.
- Comprehensive student profiles are maintained right from the earliest days of the child with PDIS till the association lasts. This along with the past performances and corrective actions taken, helps teachers, parents and students themselves to understand the growth trajectory and the corrective steps to be taken, if needed.
